		<description>I have a patch for PostgreSQL that will allow for the output of CreateUUID() to be accepted into a PostgreSQL UUID field. ATM it makes your eyes bleed, but I should have it publishable this weekend.
I still need to figure out how to patch the JDBC driver to make it work in the other direction.</description>

		<description>Will the ColdFusion related bits be a source patch from you or something coming from PostgreSQL?  I would certainly appreciate being able to use the UUID type rather than CHARs.  Thanks for the background on how they differ.</description>
